Editors and non-editors who wish to edit their bios in CHSSWeb see different forms. The form for non-editors has embedded help text, a different color scheme, and other differences. The version for editors looks like a standard CHSSWeb editing form and includes some things that are irrelevant to most non-editors.
However, prior to today, the form for non-editors had one useful feature that was lacking on the editor form: it included the person's course sections. This caused some problems with people who were editors in CHSSWeb but were not editors for the unit that owned their course sections.
As of today, course sections appear on all bio edit forms. If you are able to edit a person's bio, you will also be able to update the titles and descriptions for their course sections, upload syllabi, and add a promotional image. This solves the problem described above. It also makes finding and editing an individual's course sections much easier.
